I believe that this type of interviewing could have a positive impact in the corporate wold due to the convenience of communicating that in offers. This gives companies the opportunity to interview someone that possible lives out of state, but would be a great candidate for the job. It also creates more personal interaction between two people and I believe that this type of interaction could be a very positive addition to many companies procedures.
If I were preparing for an interview via VoIP I would make sure I looked presentable first off because the video does show a large portion of your body depending on where your camera is set up. I would also make sure I had a resume readily available because you have the option of sending it over via WeChat.
