I enjoyed my experience with both apps during my interview. One of the main differences that I found was that WeChat allows you to share your location while in a video conference, while Skype does not. WeChat also offers a facebook log in which helps the user to log in faster if they are on a time crunch, it also uploads their contacts, so it is easier to get in touch with people. WeChat exports videos to email which could be useful in an interview setting as well as has a media gallery, so you can share resumes or previous work experience through this application as well. Skype does not offer these options.
