The differences between the two packages are very few and far between. Both sites are free, available on a PC, and ad free. Also, the apps are available on IOS and android, they are tablet compatible and have in app purchases. The differences are that the WeChat app size for both android and IOS are bigger, Skype provides more options for other languages other then English. Also, Skype does not have an in app browser while WeChat does. Other than that, they are pretty equal!
