** DISCLAIMER: I used WeChat because Oovoo is no longer in service** There are a few differences between the two sites. Although both accounts were fairly easy to set up, skype did not live up to all of the perks that WeChat provided. The main difference is that my WeChat account was more easily personalized. I was able to create a new username with no issues, where as with Skype, I still have not found a way to change my ID from random letters and numbers. Also, WeChat was more easily added to my phone through an app and automatically uploaded my contacts (after my approval). These were the main differences I found while setting up both accounts. We shall see how the actual interview goes!
