I used VideoMail.IO to complete this assignment and really enjoyed the process. This site is free and does not require an account. It also is probably the most user-friendly site I have used in this class so far. To create and send a video, you go to their homepage, press record, add yours and your recipient’s information, record your video and BOOM, the assignment is complete. The one down fall of this site in my opinion is that the link to the video will expire after a certain amount of time. This would be useful for people who are just looking to share quick information and do not wish for the video to take up storage on their computer, but is a downfall for people who need to document the videos. Though I do think this source is useful, I do not necessarily think this would be widely used in the industry. I think the majority of the time when companies wish to share information via video it would be done to document a lecture, which is longer than what this site would create. Also, you cannot edit these videos which could post a threat to the likelihood of it being used. Lastly, I think email containing writing is much simpler than creating a video for companies.
